“Taste the spring” comes from a poem by Sylvia Plath called “Wintering.” The last line goes, “The bees are flying. They taste the spring.” I had remembered that her mythology around bees was female-oriented and re-reading the poem it is just what I want. What females can do when they mass together in a long deprived winter. Let’s taste the spring and see what we can do.
